Jerome Glass CB
Biography
Jerome Glass served as Chief Operating Officer at the Home Office from June 2025 until April 2026.
Prior to this, Jerome served as Director General for the Ministry of Justice’s (MOJ) Policy and Strategy Group from November 2020 to June 2025.
Jerome joined the MOJ in 2016 and held several senior roles including Principal Private Secretary to the Lord Chancellor, Director of Strategy and Director of Prison Policy.
Jerome previously worked at the Department of Energy and Climate Change, where he led on domestic climate change strategy. His career also includes experience in finance and operations at the BBC, and in investment banking at Lazard & Co.
