James Frith MP

Biography

James Frith MP was appointed as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and Parliamentary Secretary in the Cabinet Office on 3 March 2026. He is responsible for delivering the government’s ambition for a national Digital ID system that is useful, secure, and for everyone. 

Beyond his Ministerial role, Minister Frith is an experienced parliamentarian, social entrepreneur, and advocate with a strong track record of championing charities in the health, education, and faith sectors. Outside of work, Minister Frith is an avid sports fan and musician.
