Biography

Imogen was appointed British Vice Consul in February 2021. Imogen and her team provide consular assistance to British Nationals living in or visiting the Netherlands, including the Dutch Caribbean islands consisting of Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius and Saba.

Imogen joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 2018 working at the British Consulate in Palma de Mallorca. Prior to her appointment as Vice Consul, Imogen was Pro Consul at the British Consulate in Amsterdam which moved to The Hague in November 2020.

The British Consulate in The Hague consists of 3 consular staff who provide consular services to an average 1.5 million visitors to the Netherlands each year, as well as more than 45,000 British nationals living in the Netherlands.

British Vice Consul, The Hague

The British Vice Consul is in charge of a Consulate overseas. The Consulate is a subordinate office to the Embassy or High Commission and Consulate-General. The British Vice Consul represents the UK government and is typically responsible for consular activities in their city or region.
