Gurpreet Dehal has over 25 years of leadership, strategic planning and financial experience gained mainly at major investment banks, focusing on risk management throughout. Gurpreet has had responsibility for the overall operation of Prime Services Businesses for 8 years as Chief Operating Officer. Gurpreet is an effective leader at senior level, chairing strategy and risk committees, audit boards and regulatory liaison groups, improving global systems and business processes.
Gurpreet’s non-executive career began in 2010, on becoming a member of Royal Holloway College Council, whilst remaining in full-time employment at Credit Suisse. Gurpreet retired from full-time banking in 2014 at Credit Suisse as Managing Director and the Global Chief Operating Officer for the Prime Services Business. He now applies his strategic and risk management skills more broadly across additional sectors, and pursues a part-time PhD.
