Goran Mandic

Biography

Goran was appointed Deputy High Commissioner to Mauritius in January 2024.

Goran began his career with the British government in 1999. He initially worked at the Department of Trade and Industry, followed by HM Treasury in a range of domestic and international policy, negotiations and Private Office roles.

During his FCDO career, Goran led bilateral, political and cross cutting policy teams, working on EU, Middle East and Australia bilateral relationships. He worked at the British diplomatic missions in Prague, Oslo, Abu Dhabi and Bucharest. Prior to joining the Civil Service, he worked in management consulting and advertising.

Goran completed his BA studies at the Anglo American University in Prague and MSc studies at King’s College in London.
