Biography
Before moving to NIO, Gillian worked in the Northern Ireland Civil Service and Health Service. As a Chartered Management Accountant, she advised Ministers and senior leaders on a wide variety of strategic financial and policy matters including significant reform of the social welfare system.
As Chief Executive of Forensic Science Northern Ireland, she was responsible for all aspects of the Agency’s operations and performance and led this frontline service through the unprecedented challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
