Frank Baker CMG OBE

Biography

Frank Baker was UK ambassador to Libya from February 2018 to April 2019. Before this appointment he was Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Iraq from 2014 to 2017.

Baker joined FCO in 1981 in the Personal Operations Department and has since worked across FCO in diverse departments including Africa Department (Equatorial), Middle East Department, Human Rights Policy Department.
