Biography

Erin Kuhn took up her posting as Consul (Government and Prosperity Affairs) at the UK Government Office in Denver in December 2015. She was previously Chief of Staff for Global Programs and University Life at New York University, where she helped to expand NYU’s global footprint to 14 campuses worldwide and position NYU as a leading institution in international education.

Immediately prior to that role, Erin worked as a consultant for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, focusing on global communications and advocacy efforts to eradicate polio and more broadly, to promote the delivery of life-saving vaccines to children around the world.

Erin began her career at the U.S. Department of State, where she held several roles within the Bureau of International Organization Affairs in Washington, DC and at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in New York, including serving as the lead officer for Middle East affairs at the United Nations and as the Department’s liaison to Congress on issues related to international organizations.

Erin holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Southern California and an MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University. She has also studied Arabic at Georgetown University and the American University in Cairo.
