Colin Martin-Reynolds

Biography

Colin Martin-Reynolds is the FCO’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). Before being appointed as CIO he served as:

  • Deputy Ambassador in Brasilia, 2011-2013
  • Programme Director of the Corporate Services Programme, 2008-2010
  • Consul General in Washington, 2005-2008

Before Washington he spent 7 years in 4 very different FCO HQ roles:

  • Desk Officer in the United Nations department
  • Assistant Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Africa and the Middle East
  • Head of the South Africa policy team
  • Head of the Europe HR team

Chief Information Officer

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) leads the Knowledge and Technology Directorate.
