Clare Finn
Biography
Clare joined Companies House in March 2026 as the Director of Finance and Commercial.
Before joining Companies House, Clare was Head of Finance and Corporate Services (DD) at Defence Business Services within the Ministry of Defence (MOD). This followed an extensive career across MOD, where she held senior roles across Finance, Commercial and human resources. Clare is a qualified accountant with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with over 25 years post qualification experience, and more recently gained membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Director of Finance and Commercial
The Director of Finance and Commercial is responsible for all aspects of the agency’s financial strategy, management and reporting, procurement and supplier relationship management and risk management and assurance and governance in all these areas.
