Clare Dinnis
Biography
Clare joined the FSA in September 2026. As the Director of System Resilience she leads our work across the food system to manage risks to food safety and authenticity. Collaboration and engagement with stakeholders and partners across the breadth of the food system is central to this, ensuring we understand risk, share intelligence and manage incidents when they happen.
Clare previously worked at the WWT - the wetland charity, where she held the role of Wetland Conservation Director, overseeing wetland research and conservation delivery in the UK and internationally.
Prior to this Clare was at the Environment Agency where she held several senior roles covering incident management, water resources and quality, flood risk strategy and waste regulation. In these roles she fostered partnerships between organisations working across complex systems to bring benefits for communities and the environment by driving climate and economic resilience.
