Christina Duncan

Biography
Christina is the Cabinet Office Chief People Officer. Christina reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer for the Cabinet Office, and is the strategic people partner to the Permanent Secretaries across the Cabinet Office group.
Christina started her career at Halifax plc followed by 7 years at Accenture plc. Since joining the civil service Christina has held a number of senior HR and transformation roles across the Civil Service. Previous civil service roles have included Group HR Director in the Department for Transport (DfT), Transformation Director in the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and, before that, People and Operations Director in the former Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC). Christina is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is currently studying for an MSc in Organisational Psychology.
Chief People Officer
The director is responsible for HR in the Cabinet Office and oversees:
- Delivery of HR services (including a shared service model for employee and line manager transactions and casework)
- Diversity and inclusion
- Workforce planning
- Resourcing
- Employee relations and HR policy
- Reward
- Developing capability and talent
