Biography
Charlotte Surun OBE is Chargée d’affaires to Ukriane. She has been Deputy Head of Mission in Kyiv since August 2024. She has previously served in Central and South East Asia and has led teams in the FCDO focused on Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

The Chargée d’Affaires represents His Majesty The King and the UK government in the country to which they are appointed. They are responsible for the direction and work of the embassy and its consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
