Sir Charles Randell CBE
Biography
Sir Charles Randell CBE is an experienced board leader and lawyer.
He previously served as Chair of the Financial Conduct Authority and the Payment Systems Regulator and was a member of the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Committee.
He has extensive experience in corporate governance, regulation, risk management and public service.

Non-executive board members provide the Department for Transport with strategic advice, support and challenge. They also attend departmental board meetings and meet with the management team.
