Dr Bryony Mathew

Biography

Bryony Mathew was appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Iceland in August 2021. She joined HM Diplomatic Service in 2005, and has served in London, Bangalore, Beijing and Phnom Penh.

Prior to joining the service, Bryony studied Experimental Psychology at University College, Oxford, she gained a Master’s Degree in Biological Anthropology from the University of Durham and a PhD in Neuroscience from University College, London.
