Brian Menzies

Biography

Brian Menzies joined the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) as Chief Operational Delivery Officer in June 2026, on a temporary secondment from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Brian has over 25 years of Civil Service experience. Most of his career has been spent in operational management roles, leading teams and services that support customers through the appropriate welfare support and into work.

He has extensive experience in both national and regional operations and brings a strong track record in operational, policy and large-scale organisational change. Most recently he has led the jobcentre network across the East of England overseeing operational delivery.
