Ashok Ahir
Biography
Ashok joined the UK Government in Wales in July 2018 as the Director of Communications.
Before working for the UK Government, Ashok ran a successful bilingual communications agency based in Cardiff. Before that he worked for the BBC as a journalist, editor and programme maker in London and Cardiff. For more than a decade he was responsible for BBC Cymru Wales’ politics team, overseeing coverage of Welsh politics on television, radio and on digital services.
