Anna Jenkins
Biography
Anna joined Defra group HR in March 2025 as the HR Director for APHA.
She has spent much of her career in public sector and Civil Service HR roles, leading work on pay and reward, organisational design and workforce planning.
Before joining Defra, Anna worked at the Department of Health and Social Care. She has also held roles at the Home Office, Department for Work and Pensions, and Ministry of Defence.
Human Resources Director
The APHA Human Resources (HR) Director leads the team of Defra group HR Business Partners (BPs). They support APHA employees with HR policy, resourcing and employee relations.
