Angela Crossley

Biography
As director of Strategy Policy and Analysis Angela’s responsibilities include oversight of the Agency’s policy development, strategy development and the production of national insolvency statistics, along with oversight regulation of insolvency practitioners. Angela is currently working in a job-share partnership with Claire Hardgrave.
She has spent the majority of her career working in the Insolvency Service, enjoying a number of senior roles at the Insolvency Service including official receiver London, Head of Operations for Investigation and Enforcement Services and heading up the insolvency practitioner regulatory functions on behalf of the Secretary of State.

Working as a job-share partnership, the Strategy, Policy & Analysis Directors are members of the Insolvency Service Board and Executive Leadership Team, and report directly to the Chief Executive. They are responsible for the agency’s policy function, which reports to Ministers in the Department for Business and Trade, the agency’s strategy function, its analysis team including the production of Official Statistics on insolvency, as well as oversight regulation for the insolvency profession.
