Biography
Alice Hurrell CBE is the Chief Operating Officer and Director General, Corporate Delivery Group at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ).
Alice is responsible for strengthening departmental delivery through the department’s operating model, transformation, operational performance and organisational capability. She leads the main corporate functions that provide expertise, delivery support and the systems required to enable DESNZ to deliver its priorities effectively.
From 2018 to 2026, Alice served as Chief People Officer in the department with primary responsibility for the Human Resources function.
