Detail

The Welsh Language Act 1993 requires all public bodies - including VOSA - to prepare and adopt a Welsh language scheme.

This scheme sets out how we will uphold this principle when providing services to the public in Wales.

When conducting public business in Wales, VOSA will treat the English and Welsh languages equally.

The scheme:

  • uses the guidelines issued by the Welsh Language Board
  • is published and available to all our staff and the public

If you have any suggestions about the scheme, please email enquiries@vosa.gov.uk.
