Sea Fish Industry Authority
The Sea Fish Industry Authority (Seafish) supports the seafood industry to work for a sustainable, profitable future. It offers regulatory guidance and services to all parts of the seafood industry, including catching and aquaculture, processors, importers, exporters and distributors of seafood, as well as restaurants and retailers.
It is sponsored by the Scottish government, Welsh Assembly and the Northern Ireland Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as Defra.
Seafish is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs.
