Northern Ireland Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment

The Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment is Northern Ireland’s awarding organisation, offering a range of qualifications. It advises the devolved government on what should be taught and assessed in schools and colleges, and monitors the standards of qualifications and examinations offered by all awarding organisations in Northern Ireland.

CCEA is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department of Education (Northern Ireland).
