About us
The Independent Commission on Civil Aviation Noise (ICCAN) provides an independent voice on civil aviation noise issues.
ICCAN began work in January 2019 and follows a programme of activity based on the government’s 2017 airspace policy consultation response, and through engagement with communities, the aviation industry and other bodies in the aviation sector.
ICCAN’s board of 5 Commissioners is headed by Robert Light and supported by a small secretariat.
