Procurement at DSA
How we buy goods and services, and how you can work with us.
The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) closed on 31 March 2014. It has been replaced by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). This is the information about DSA that was published at the point that it closed. It is no longer current.
What we do
Our procurement team makes sure that we:
- follow European procurement directives
- get best value for money in everything we buy
We do this by identifying the most cost effective methods of buying and contracting for a wide range of goods and services.
We do this in 2 stages:
- advertising, tendering and award of contracts
- contract management to monitor the performance of suppliers and the quality of goods and services supplied
What we’re buying
You can find current opportunities to supply goods and services to us on the Contracts Finder.
You can also look at details of what we’ve already bought, who from and how much we’ve paid.
Guidance for our suppliers
You can read a guide to tendering for public sector contracts.
The following documents contain our conditions of contract:
- general conditions of contract for services
- general conditions of contract for goods
- purchase order conditions of contract (typically for goods and services valued at less than £25,000)
