What we do

Doing business with DIO (Youtube video)

Commercial strategy

The DIO commercial strategy explains how we aim to transform the way we do business. It has a focus on increasing supplier numbers, offering greater opportunities to small and medium-sized enterprises as well as larger suppliers. The strategy also gives information on the types of opportunities available to prospective suppliers.

DIO procurement pipeline

The Procurement Pipeline replaces the Procurement Plan and complements the DIO Commercial Strategy. It aims to inform industry of what DIO plans to buy on behalf of its Armed Forces customers. The pipeline is updated regularly to ensure that the latest information is available.

Doing business with DIO - entering the supply chain

  • Doing Business with Defence: This Brochure outlines the many ways in which you can do business with the Ministry of Defence.

  • Contracts Finder: Search here for Public Sector contracts worth £12K and more.

  • Find A Tender: Search and apply for high value contracts (usually above £118K) in the UK’s public and utilities sectors.

  • CCS (Crown Commercial Services) Frameworks: Search for existing suppliers on relevant frameworks and lots. To become a supplier through CCS you have to respond to a contract notice and succeed in the tender process. Details of how to register your interest in a tender are contained in the contract notice.

  • DIO Opt in for Updates and Events: By completing this short opt in form you will be added to the mailing list to receive DIO and event notifications.
