Eslyn Barends, a South African entrepreneur, has secured an exclusive place to The Entrepreneurs Festival to be held in Manchester, where she will meet with other bright, talented entrepreneurs from all over the world.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) invited recent graduates and final year BA/BSc level, Masters or Research degree students with entrepreneurial ambitions to grab an exclusive place at the festival in Manchester, home to the UK’s largest university. The invitation was open to all whether educated in the UK as an international student, or based somewhere else in the world.

Eslyn will get hands-on experience of what it’s like to be a young entrepreneur in the UK. She will work in teams to learn about how to set up and run a business and will also benefit from a great line-up of speakers and investors. She will have the opportunity to hear from, and to be mentored by inspiring UK-based entrepreneurs.

After the festival, Eslyn, who has also applied to study at Henley Business School in Reading, will have exclusive access to insight and advice from entrepreneurs whose success stories started in the UK.
