Secretary of State for Wales Cheryl Gillan is backing the Welsh rugby team to kick off this year’s RBS Six Nations Championship in style when they face England at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff tomorrow night.

Mrs Gillan will be cheering on the Welsh team for a successful Six Nations campaign in the build up to the Rugby World cup this Autumn.

Mrs Gillan said: “As Welsh Secretary, I will be behind the Welsh team all the way.   Wales has a great record since 2005 against England at the Millennium Stadium, and I’m sure that the support of the crowd will give the Welsh the boost they need to continue that trend.  I look forward to what I am sure will be a tremendous championship.”

Following the England game, Wales face the Scots at Murrayfield, followed by the Italians in Rome, Ireland in Cardiff and a grand finale against France in Paris.
