Focus on civil service reform and cyber security

The Rt Hon Francis Maude MP, Minister for the Cabinet Office, visited Singapore from 21 to 25 February. His visit covered Civil Service Reform, Digital Government, the Open Government Partnership and Cyber Security.

Mr Maude had meetings with Mr Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs and Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for Communication and Informations. He visited the Civil Service College, the Infocomm Development Authority and met with numerous senior Singapore Government Officials.

Mr Maude also visited Reading Room, a British company working on digital services that has a base in Singapore. In addition the Minister was a guest at the official opening of Marlborough College Malaysia and he enjoyed attending the uniquely Singaporean Chingay Parade 2013, where he met Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
