The Clinical Excellence Awards Scheme recognises and rewards NHS consultants and academic GPs who perform over and above the standard expected of their role. It is managed and overseen by the Advisory Committee on Clinical Excellence Awards (ACCEA). National level clinical excellence awards reward NHS consultants for their contribution at a national level.

Further to previous updates, ACCEA is still awaiting an announcement from the Minister. All interested parties should continue to access the website for the latest news.

Word versions of the application forms are available for those consultants wishing to begin work on their applications before the launch of the online system (see update of 26 September, for link to forms)
