Upcoming resurfacing work on A21 and M25 in Kent

Road users in Kent are advised that there will be overnight closures and diversions due to resurfacing on the M25 and the A21 starting later this month.

The southbound A21 from the A25 interchange to Morleys roundabout will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Tuesday 26 May for two nights. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A25 eastbound, A224 and A225 southbound before joining the A21 at the Morleys roundabout.

The northbound A21 from the link road to the M25 clockwise at junction 5 and the link road to the M25 anti-clockwise at junction 5 will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am on Thursday 28 May and between 11pm and 6am on Friday 29 May. A clearly signed diversion for road users travelling northbound on the A21 towards junction 5 will be in place via junction 6 of the M25.

There will be lane closures on the clockwise carriageway of the M25 between junction 4 and junction 5 overnight, between 11pm and 6am on Friday 29 May and between 10pm and 5.30am on Monday 1 June.

The anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 between junction 4 and junction 3 will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Wednesday 17 June until Wednesday 1 July (Monday to Friday only). Work on Fridays will take place between 11pm and 6am. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the M25 junction 4 spur road, the A224 and the A20 to junction 3.

Drivers planning to use these sections of the M25 and A21 are advised to plan their journeys and allow extra time to reach their destinations.
