UKTI Santo Domingo and Agriculture Delegation visited PPMA 2015 Exhibition of Machinery for Processing and Packaging in Birmingham.

The Delegation was formed by Osmar Benitez, President of Junta Agroempresarial Dominicana (JAD); Pedro Carreño, President of PC Procesos Industriales; Andy Holguin, President of Surtidora Hortícola del Caribe and Joshua Wagner, Commercial Advisor of British Embassy Santo Domingo. The objective of the visit is to familiarise with the British machinery and technology offer that could be implemented in the agricultural sector with the goal to automatise productive processes making them more efficient allowing the modernisation of agriculture and export within required international market standards.
