Managing Director, Paramount Books(Pvt.) Ltd., Mr. Iqbal Saleh Muhammad said:

Anything being popular is one thing, but also to be respected and loved at the same time is indeed uncommon. The ladybird is one such celebrated name, in the context of reading material for children, which enjoys this rare distinction and prestige, not only in Pakistan, but the world over, wherever English is taught and learned. Paramount’s close association with Ladybird, which it has enjoyed for fifty years, can easily be described as both traditional and institutional.

British Deputy High Commissioner and Director UK Trade and Investment, Pakistan, John A. Tucknott MBE said:

English Language as a tool for communication and knowledge is being recognised worldwide. It combines UK and Pakistan’s expertise in English language development to encourage young boys and girls to read and to empower them to spread the love of reading in their communities. Reading not only strengthens their ability in the English language, but will open up their minds to a world of creativity, culture, imagination and understanding. We congratulate Paramount Books for bringing this extra-ordinary initiative to the children of Pakistan.

Paramount Books is the exclusive distributor for leading publishers such as Ladybird, UK; Hodder Education, UK; Cambridge University Press, UK, in Pakistan. Their academic books vary from Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary to O & A-Level books.
