UK supports His Majesty King Hamad's initiative on dialogue

We welcome the initiative of His Majesty King Hamad to reinvigorate the political dialogue process and welcome the meetings held today by HRH the Crown Prince with representatives of political societies and MPs. The UK strongly supports the National Dialogue process in Bahrain – it is the only way to promote peace and stability and address the legitimate aspiration of all Bahrainis. We encourage all parties to engage constructively in this process and build the trust and confidence necessary for longer-term reconciliation to take place.
