UK outdoor companies, James Hooper to attend Seoul Camping Fair
Over 20 UK companies join with adventurer James Hooper to showcase UK outdoor activities and products at International Camping Fair in Seoul
The British Embassy Seoul is organising the ‘Great outdoors’ pavilion at the ‘2016 International Camping Fair’ at KINTEX in Ilsan, South Korea 26 to 28 February. The pavilion will showcase more than 20 British outdoor brands.
Speaking ahead of the event, UK Ambassador to Korea, Charles Hay said:
The UK and Korea share a passion for climbing and trekking so I am excited that a number of British companies will showcase their outdoor products at this event. Some are established in Korea but for others this will be the first step into a market with huge potential.
I am also looking forward to meeting our ‘Adventure is GREAT’ Ambassador for this event, James Hooper. As a British adventurer and well known television personality in Korea, James epitomises UK-Korea’s close relations and our shared love for the great outdoors.

James Hooper (British adventurer and Korean television entertainer) will attend the event as the ‘Adventure is GREAT’ Ambassador. He will discuss his successful ascent of Everest and his passion for the UK as a place to enjoy outdoor activities.
