The UK Foreign Secretary, William Hague, arrived in Islamabad today for a two-day visit.
The Foreign Secretary’s arrival follows the recent two-day visit to Pakistan by the British Prime Minister David Cameron, who was the first Foreign Head of Government to visit Pakistan following the formation of the new government.
The visit underlines the UK’s continued commitment to a deep, long-term and strategic relationship with Pakistan.
During the visit, the Foreign Secretary will be discussing the strength of bilateral UK and Pakistan relations, further strengthening both business and cultural ties and the UK and Pakistan’s mutual interests in promoting stability in the region.
