Charge d’affaires, Ms Amy Sherwood and IOM Chief of Mission to Moldova, Mr Antonio Polosa signing the contract at British Embassy Chisinau.

From 31 December 2013, residents of Moldova who wish to come to the UK for more than 6 months must be tested for tuberculosis (TB) before applying for a visa.

If you submit an application at the bio-metric clinic in Chisinau on or after 31 December 2013, you will need to take a TB test if you are applying to come to the UK for 6 months or longer. If you apply for a visa before this date you will not need to take a TB test.

If you plan to come to the UK for less than 6 months you do not need a TB test, unless you are applying for a 6 month fiancé (e) visa.

The British Embassy Chisinau is pleased to announce that IOM Moldova won the tender and will be carrying out TB testing for visa applicants.

On 18 December, Charge d’affaires, Amy Sherwood welcomed IOM Chief of Mission, Antonio Polosa to the British Embassy to formally sign the contract. We look forward to strong cooperation in this regard.
