Tropical storm Alex - hurricane warning

Tropical Storm Alex, currently in the Gulf of Mexico, is expected to develop into a hurricane.

Tropical Storm Alex is currently in the Gulf of Mexico. This tropical storm is expected to develop into a hurricane and a hurricane warning has been issued for the coast of Texas south of Baffin Bay to the mouth of the Rio Grande river. Heavy rain and strong winds are forecast.

If you are in the area, you should continue to follow the development of this system by monitoring weather reports and follow the advice of the local authorities.
