The British Consulate has issued advice to British drivers travelling to France for the February school holidays.

Sir Peter Ricketts, British Ambassador to France, said:
France is a wonderful holiday destination, and I am pleased to see that so many British Nationals choose the Alpine ski resorts for their February trips.
However every year, consular staff are called upon to help British Nationals who run into difficulties while in France. I hope that by following this advice even more people will be able to look back on a successful trip and a peaceful journey home.
