The UK and Vietnam to discuss bilateral cooperation in 2014

The 3rd UK–Viet Nam Strategic Dialogue will be conducted in London on 22 October 2013.

UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Minister of State Hugo Swire and Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vice Minister Bui Thanh Son will conduct the 3rd UK–Viet Nam Strategic Dialogue in London on 22 October 2013.

The Strategic Dialogue is an annual event under the framework of the UK-Vietnam Strategic Partnership Agreement signed by both sides in 2010. The Dialogue is an occasion to discuss regional and bilateral issues, international and global challenges, defence and security, including international organised crime and migration. This year’s Strategic Dialogue takes places during the 40th anniversary of the UK-Vietnam diplomatic relations.

The two Ministers will be accompanied by senior officials from relevant Ministries on both sides.
