Hackathon Agro Montevideo

This is an open competition for Uruguayan teams made up of researchers, entrepreneurs and experts in Information Technologies, Agro and Business.

40 young university students and/or professionals in the mentioned areas will solve challenges related to agriculture in Uruguay through the use of technology.

They will have to present a business model and a prototype developed within 48 hours, from 9:00 on Saturday 17 September to 19:00 on Sunday 18 September.

The Hackathon participants use their complementary skills and experience to develop concrete solutions to a real world issue. It promotes peers’ collaboration towards problem solving and focuses on the work process as a training opportunity.

Those interested in taking part can register here before Tuesday 8 September, first come first served, until the 40 places are taken.

The Hackathon is a great opportunity to publicise brands or products to the large public that attends Expo Prado 2016 over the weekend and to its participants.
