Tajikistan Day in the United Kingdom
The theme of the event this year is ‘Tajikistan in the 21st Century: Prospects for Development and Progress’.
The conference is part of a cultural programme organised by the Tajik Embassy in the United Kingdom, in collaboration with the Ismaili Centre, London. The conference aims to highlight the achievements and future challenges of development in Tajikistan.
This event will be attended by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Tajikistan, Robin Ord-Smith, who will give a presentation on the current state of the bilateral relationship between Tajikistan and the UK.
Other presentations will be made by governmental, national and international partners, and will focus on prospects for collaboration as well as investment in the economy of Tajikistan. There will also be a programme of cultural events including a concert by famous Tajik performer Mekhrnigori Rustam.
