Statement from HM Ambassador Duncan Taylor. In relation to pending payments owed by the GLOBE Ltd.

We have received confirmation that the Global Legislators Organisation Limited Company (GLOBE Ltd), the former secretariat for GLOBE International, has gone into administration, effective 20 October 2014 and that their affairs have been referred to the UK Insolvency Service.

We understand the urgency of people wishing to resolve outstanding payments, and want to be as helpful as we can. We expect all companies to pay their creditors in full. I must however, make clear that GLOBE Ltd was not a UK Government institution.

Neither the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) nor the UK Government have been involved in the running of GLOBE Ltd and they this have no liability in this matter. It is also not the role of the UK Government to get involved in the financial affairs of independent organisations or prevent them from entering administration.

I would like to make clear that the Insolvency Service is in the process of making contact with all known creditors to inform them of the status of the case. If you have not yet heard from The Insolvency Service, you may wish to contact them to make them aware that you are a creditor of GLOBE Ltd.

They can be contacted by letter, telephone or email. The case reference is LQD4301469.

Their contact details are: The Insolvency Service 4 Abbey Orchard Street London, SW1P 2HT United Kingdom Telephone: 0044 300 678 0015
