Settlement visa application made in Bangladesh: Important update
Important information for anyone planning to submit an application for a settlement visa
All new settlement applications made in Bangladesh from Sunday 15 June 2014 onwards will be processed outside Bangladesh. To facilitate this process, if you apply in Bangladesh you must provide a full copy of any original passports submitted, including all pages of the passport, with your application. Your original passport will stay in Bangladesh and the copy will be sent to the decision making centre outside Bangladesh with your application form. This is a change in process only. There will be no difference to our customer service standards and your application will still be processed within the current standards for settlement applications made outside the UK.
