The DBS will stay open during the strike.

Members of the civil service union, Public and Commercial Services (PCS), have voted to go on strike on Monday 8 April 2013.

This industrial action is over pay, pensions, jobs and terms and conditions.

A number of DBS staff who are PCS union members have decided to take industrial action. However, the DBS remains open for business and continues to focus its efforts on delivering its services.

Minimising the impact

Our call centre and help desk remain open to deal with customer enquiries, we are continuing to process applications already in the system, consider referrals and make barring decisions.

The DBS will make every effort to minimise the effect of the strike on our services.
