Remembrance day service in Egypt

The British Embassy in Egypt commemorated Remembrance Day by holding the annual Service of Remembrance at the Commonwealth Cemetery.

On Sunday, 10th November 2013, the British Embassy in Egypt commemorated Remembrance Day by holding the annual Service of Remembrance at the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery in Heliopolis.

Amongst the attendees and wreathlayers were school children and representatives from several Commonwealth countries. A two minute silence was held to remember all those who sacrificed their lives in the First and Second World Wars and all subsequent conflicts.
