People interested in working at the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympics games can now register on the official recruitment website.

It is estimated that over 100,000 jobs will be generated in London to accommodate the millions of visitors who are expected to descend upon London for the Olympic and Paralympic games in 2012. By registering on Jobs for the Games you can be alerted as soon as relevant jobs become available.

Very soon, jobs will be available across a wide range of industry sectors, roles and locations, giving you the opportunity to get involved. The site also offers a number of career tools, including help in creating your CV.

“Staging the Olympic and Paralympic Games is the most complex piece of project management that any city will ever undertake,” said Sebastian Coe, LOCOG Chairman. ”An inseparable part of the project is getting the best and smartest people working directly for the Organising Committee, our suppliers and sponsors.

“If we don’t get that right, then we won’t have a successful Games. This site is a gateway to the jobs generated by the London 2012 Games and I encourage people to sign up today.”
