Programme Fund: call for bids for finance sector research

Japan is one of the largest financial service export destination for UK, £3bn in 2014. As the Japanese government tries to expand the market for financial services, we expect to see greater opportunities for UK businesses. Tokyo Metropolitan Government has welcomed UK expertise to support their initiative to make Tokyo a Global Financial Centre.

We are tendering for a project that aims to explore areas where the UK can support Japan and Tokyo in their work to make the financial sector more open, international and competitive, which could lead to commercial benefits to the UK. Key outputs are: (i) a short report setting out financial policy recommendation by the end of August; and (ii) a full research paper by the end of November.

To find out more, including how to bid, please download the Request for Quote Template for BE Tokyo PF Finance Project (PDF, 528 KB, 25 pages). The deadline for bids is 1700 on Monday 12 June 2017.
