The Prime Minister's Spokesperson answered questions on Stephen Lawrence, Andy Murray, the Bank of England Governor and Boris Johnson.

Stephen Lawrence

Asked whether the Prime Minister has seen the Home Secretary to discuss Stephen Lawrence since he returned from his overseas trip, the Prime Minister’s Spokesperson (PMS) said that the PM has regular conversations with the Home Secretary. He said nothing is off the table when it comes to discussions on how we move forward.

Andy Murray

Asked whether the PM would send a text to Andy Murray, the PMS expressed his desire for Andy Murray to win.

Bank of England Governor

Asked whether the PM has had a meeting with the new Governor of the Bank of England the PMS said that he was not aware of any meeting or planned conversation.

Boris Johnson

Asked whether the PM thinks Boris Johnson had anyone in mind when he said that he didn’t think politicians should stick around for too long, the PMS explained that the question would be better directed to the Mayor of London.
