The Prime Minister's Official Spokesperson answered questions on public finance, Ched Evans, EU, Parliament and net migration.

Public finance figures

When asked about the latest Office for National Statistics, Public Finance Figures the Prime Minister’s Official Spokesman (PMOS) said the Prime Minister shared HM Treasury’s view.

Ched Evans

When asked about Ched Evans, the PMOS said the Prime Minister’s view hadn’t changed.

EU

When asked about the EU, the PMOS said the Prime Minister was clear on the need for EU reform and part of this agenda would include ensuring greater competitiveness and flexibility.

Parliament refurbishment

When asked about potential refurbishment of the Parliamentary Estate, the PMOS said this was a matter for Parliament, and one that a Parliamentary group were looking into.

Net migration

When asked on the government’s objective to get net migration below 100,000 by the end of this Parliament, the PMOS said this continued to be the objective the government was working towards.
